There are so many reasons why I love being a stay at home mom, but I will just share 10 with you below. Being a stay at home mom is not always the easiest but it is very rewarding. One thing I learned so early on is that you can’t really plan or be fully prepared for parenting. You take each day as it comes, and just enjoy the ride. Share laughs, hugs, and be a shoulder for when they need to cry. Being a mom has changed my life so much.

I’m able to see all of the firsts.
Quality time together.
No daycare care expenses.
I get to be my own boss.
I can go to their ball games and other events without having as many conflicting schedules.
Get to go out and have an adventure or two together whenever we want.
Can create my own schedule to fit our needs.
Give a few extra hugs throughout the day.
I love being able to have dinner with my family, and don’t have to worry about missing out because of work.
Helps build a strong relationship with them.

Now that My Kids are Older

Now that my kids are older and I am still sitting here as a stay at home mom, well a work at home mom, I can honestly say that the above 10 reasons still hold true. I have been able to raise my kids, spend quality time with them, and build a bond like no other. Sure, my last relationship situation really dug a trench in our bond, but it’s coming back to the surface. My life as a work at home mom is the best ever. I love that I can be here for my kids, take them to events, and hear them when life is getting fun or too tough. I can honestly say that no matter how hard working at home with three kids around is, that this was the best decision I’ve ever made in my life. I’m glad I was able to come home in 2006 and start this work at home venture. I highly recommend anyone out there, who has a dream to be a work at home mom, that they follow that dream. Find a way. It’s so rewarding!
