If you have been debating transitioning to work at home, I say weigh your pros and cons and give it a try if you feel it is beneficial. I have found that it has been a huge blessing in so many different ways!

5. I can work early in the morning or late at night and not have to leave the home.
6. Your Keurig is right in the next room for that perfect cup of coffee.
7. You can work when you are sick and not be afraid to get others sick.
8. No commute during rush hour.
9. You are able to see your family more.
10. Can make homecooked meals for your family easier.

Working from home is great because of the flexible hours and ability to easily work around my kid’s schedule. Having three kids, one with a job now, means I am constantly pulled in multiple directions. Years ago, I had to make the decision to work from home for different reasons but as the job of being Mom became more demanding, working at home just made sense.

I took the skills I learned since having a job at the age of 13 between cashiering, bank teller, admin assistant and similar job positions to use from my home office. Over the years I have learned new skills and expanded my offering of services. I even offer ghostwriting services, where I create evergreen content for bloggers on a regular basis.
