Let’s face it, history is awesome! I am going to share 10 reasons why history is awesome. In prior times, I would go road tripping and we would “brake” for historical signs. Click here to read my favorite historical find in NH. I know you might think I am a little crazy, but let’s face it, history has made us who we are today. From the pilgrims to all the presidents, and the list goes on. History fascinates me in so many ways, which is why the History channel is one of my favorites to tune into.

History is a great way to learn about our past. Let’s face it, if you believe as I do that history repeats itself, then it’s surely worth a look into learning more about our past and seeing what has happened. This, perhaps, will help us deter from repeating our own human history.

  1. These are some great gift ideas for my husband who is a history buff. I am going to save this for Christmas shopping.

  2. My dad is a history buff and I just know he would love these books. And he happens to love playing pool too so those billiards art prints would make a great gift!

  3. My former husband was a WW2 history lover and so many of these books like great reads for anyone who wants to learn more about history, or to add to their existing knowledge. I feel it is more important than ever to have an understanding of where we came from and how we arrived where we are today. Knowledge is a powerful tool for change.

  4. My son is starting to get into history and he’d love some of these ideas! I’ll have to save them for Christmas ideas!

  5. I agree history is awesome and these are some great gift ideas. I really like the World Map Wall Art.

  6. Oh my husband would love these books! He is such a history buff and everytime we plan a trip, he always suggests a historical site to visit. I think he will want to read the book The War of 1812 first.

  7. Those books sound like great gift ideas for a history buff. They might be a good idea to pick up for anyone doing early holiday shopping.

  8. I have never found history interesting, except that of my family. I guess it was the forced history in school. However, my husband and dad both enjoy history. They will enjoy these gifts.

  9. Those titles are great for the history lover. I have quite a few history buffs in my family who would love these.

  10. The world map would look good in our library at home. My husband and I love books, although our preferences are complete opposites. He is more of crime, suspense and history books. I love travel books, YA fiction, inspiration/self-help books and biographies.
