Being a work at home mom has many benefits. When I decided to come home full time it was an easy, no brainer decision. Aside from the fact that I loved my job back in 2006, being home with my firstborn and my soon to be second-born seemed like an easy choice. I had been an administrative assistant most of my employed years and so I took those skills and started working from home as a virtual assistant, direct sales rep and then, later on, a blogger.

So many people have asked me how I do it. How have I been able to work from home for the past 10 plus years with success? I have no idea how I did it. In all reality, I just continue to adapt and recreate services that work well for the ever-changing online world. Congratulations on your success with the whole working from home journey. I didn’t really start doing the work at home thing until after I retired. Perfect for me. Can make some cash on the side and work as few of hours as I want.

  Hi Pam! Thanks for your comment. I love that you’re able to make a little income on the side after retirement, I’m sure it helps keep the boredom down? I wish more people, especially moms, who think they can’t work would find a way to use their computers to make money. I bet it would be a HUGE boost for moms who think they can’t work, due to ridiculous pricing of babysitters/daycare.
