The Best Hydracy® Recipes and Fruit Infuser Water Bottles

Benefits of Drinking More Water

As we near the end of the first month in 2021, I wanted to discuss a goal that many people set for a New Year – lose some weight. With our current times, I’ve gained weight that typically gets shed off during the summer season. I didn’t lose the winter weight in the summer this time around, due to the restrictions, mask-wearing, and everything causing us to stay home rather than hit the hiking trails.

I’m now in the winter of 2021 with last year’s winter weight on my belly and it can be discouraging. I practice many mind training activities to keep my head straight during our current times, including what I think about my increased weight.

It’s easy to wake up each morning, check social media, grab some coffee, and begin our day. What’s not so easy is putting weight loss activities at the forefront of our morning routines. I’m guilty of this, you’re guilty of this, it happens to the best of us.

Adjusting our daily lives to include new workout habits to help us succeed with weight loss goals won’t be easy. It’s going to take time for any new routine to become a normal part of your everyday routine.

That’s why I’m a huge advocate for drinking more water.

This simple step is something you can take and incorporate into your daily life without much effort. I’m even considering buying this water bottle to ensure I consume enough water to offset my snacking habits.

I’ve shared some amazing Hydracy recipes on the blog in previous years that people enjoy using. I’ve shared some of the best fruit infuser water bottles, too. Learning how to drink more water during the day is all about getting creative with how you serve up the water.

I, for one, enjoy room temperature water so buying a new water jug that helps me maintain my water drinking goals each day works just fine for me. You might not like the taste of regular water, much like my middle child, so you’ll need fruit infused water bottles to maintain proper water intake for weight loss.

How Much Water a Day Helps You Lose Weight?

I can tell when I need to drink more water, I start to develop headaches regularly. I’ve taught my children to know this sign of needing water, too. With that being said, you may be wondering how much water a day can help you lose weight.

There’s a formula that people swear by, that helps them lose weight by drinking more water. If you want to lose weight by increasing your water intake, here’s a good rule of thumb:

Drink half your body weight in water ounces. For example; if you weigh 190 pounds, then you should drink 80 ounces of water every day.

Make yourself a glass of fresh lemonade, if you’re not feeling fresh water. Use the fruit infused water bottles I shared above, or just find unique ways to include water in your day so that you’re drinking half your body weight in ounces of water every single day.

Drinking the right amount of water every day will start to help you have more mental clarity, as well as feel healthier. Your energy levels will increase, and your weight will slowly start to fall off.

Benefits of Drinking More Water

Now that I shared some tips to drink water to lose weight, and how much water to drink, it’s time to share some of the other amazing benefits you’ll experience when you make drinking water a priority this year!

  • Maximize physical performance
  • Increase physical and mental energy
  • Think more clearly, freshes your brain
  • Reduces calorie intake for weight loss
  • Your body is healthy and your mood is consistent

Of course, I’m biased about drinking water because I just love this beverage. Beyond coffee and my alcoholic beverages, water is the only thing I drink. I drink water straight up with my water bottle and soon will be using this water bottle to make sure I’m drinking my daily required amount of water regularly.

If you’re looking to lose weight and feel better this year, please consider getting yourself on the routine to drink more water! This is by far one of the easiest ways to lose weight and start feeling more confident in life.
