Do you need to create a graphic for your website, but don’t have any design experience? Or maybe you’re just short on time and don’t want to spend hours creating a custom design. In either case, Canva’s premade templates are the solution for you!
In this blog post, we will show you how to use these templates to create beautiful graphics in minutes.
What is graphic design?
Graphic design is the process of visual communication and problem-solving through the use of typography, photography, and illustration. It is used to convey ideas, information, or messages to a specific audience.
Why use premade templates?
Premade templates offer a quick and easy way to create professional-looking designs. They are also great for those who are new to graphic design, as they provide a helpful starting point.
Canva offers a wide range of premade templates for various purposes, such as social media posts, invitations, and marketing materials. I also have some premade templates for Canva in my content shop.
Can I use Canva graphics for commercial use?
On Canva, all free pictures, music, and video files may be used for both commercial and noncommercial purposes without limitation. Please double-check the image source or contact us if you are uncertain about a photo, song, or video file that depicts an identifiable person, place, logo, or trademark.
How to Use Canva’s Premade Templates
First, head over to Canva and create a free account.
Once you’re logged in, click on the “Templates” tab at the top of the page. Here you will see a variety of templates for different design types, including social media posts, flyers, posters, and more.
For this example, we’ll use the “Facebook Post” template. Click on it to open up the template editor.
On the left side of the editor, you will see a list of elements that you can add to your design. For our example, we’ll add a background image and some text.
To add an image, click on the “Uploads” tab and upload the image you want to use. Once it’s uploaded, you can drag and drop it into place.
To add text, click on the “Text” tab and type out your message. You can then format the text using the options on the left, such as changing the font, color, or size.
Once you’re happy with your design, click the “Download” button in the top right corner and choose your file type.
That’s it! In just a few minutes, you’ve created a beautiful graphic using one of Canva’s premade templates.

How does a Canva template work?
A Canva template is a design that has already been designed and which you can simply modify. The design’s frame is there, and you may alter the colors, typefaces, and features to put your own creative spin on it. Templates are available for free or purchase templates that fit particular needs.
Now that you know how to use them, be sure to take advantage of these templates the next time you need to create a graphic. With Canva, there’s no need to hire a designer or spend hours creating a custom design. Just choose a template, or buy one of my premade templates and get started.
