Everything is Aligning as it Is Meant To

About a month ago I saw this hiring part time sign at a local shop, and being that I that store as I\’ve been a customer there since I moved here, I was literally jumping for excitement and super curious

Would she hire me?

What does the job entail?

Is this a sign even for her shop or someone else?

It said to call, but I was like, \”I *have* to know! So the next day, when I saw the sign was still up, I went in to ask.\” Or maybe it was the same day. That part I don\’t recall exactly

I found out what the job entailed, grabbed an application, and left to come back on Tuesday. I think it was. Anyways, dates are hard for my memory, so those are foggy, but it was a positive convo, and she was going out of town, so I had to come back on a specific day with the completed app.

And I did. I returned to find out that she was hiring me. She knew with instincts that she was going to hire me. Somehow, something about our interactions with me as a customer and just something else that day (not my story to share) she knew I was the person for this position.

My entire point of sharing this long-winded story of an experience is that I TRUSTED MY GUT. I WAS IN FLOW WHEN I SAW THAT SIGN FOR A JOB. I WAS IN MY ELEMENT KNOWING I NEEDED TO WORK AT THIS SHOP. I DID NOT TAKE A YEAR TO TAKE AN ACTIONABLE STEP, I DIDN\’T QUESTION MY VALUE, I DIDN\’T SECOND GUESS IF I COULD TAKE ON THE TASK … I JUMPED RIGHT IN.

And it was one of the best choices I\’ve made! Now, why is it so difficult to flow into something else that calls me? Why can\’t I just be as confident in step 1, step 2, step 3, done with other areas of life?

Well, that\’s something to journal on, isn\’t it?!
