The loving energy transferred from Mom to child is a beautiful energy that we all have. This energy is not just reserved for mothers, although the unconditional love of a mother seems to empower that energy we are all capable of having and gifting to others.
I had a dream last night that reminded me of the power of a motherly hug. A hug that is not romantic in nature, but so many are raised to associate the energy in this moment with something more \”romantic\” (trying to keep words fam-friendly). I wonder why it is that we often feel this loving energy means we must take the connection to some human created physical level?
I don’t know if all have experienced this, but my dream reminded me that I have this loving energy in my arms and hands. Perhaps that is precisely why I was drawn to become a Usui Reiki Master? It is as if a piece of me knows who I truly am and is reminding me of my powerful, loving energy. The energy that my human side was taught to make something more out of, rather than having it be a healing energy for my “tribe” of humans I’ve come into contact with.
Those who come to me for advice and healing, although I didn’t call it healing back in the day, more often than not leave with a smile on their face, a nod, and the ability to see their situation for something different than they were seeing it as before. I brought this loving energy from a new perspective that allowed that person to take this advice and morph it into something of their own creation.
This meant, I was using my words and loving nature such as a hug or hand shake to help transfer that energy to another person who then took that loving energy with their new mindset based on the verbal tidbits I shared and then carved their life out in a new way – or at least looked at their scenario through a new lens.
This is not me bragging, we are all absolutely capable of such magical ways. We all have this loving energy. Sadly, too many of us are disconnected from it for a variety of reasons. Some of the reasons we get disconnected from this loving energy form of us are:
- Poor diet and nutrition.
- Lack of barefoot or hands to soil in nature.
- The swap away from leather soles in shoes did us in with disconnecting us from Mother Gaia. Once we could connect with her even with shoes on, for we had shoes that allowed the electrical energy from Earth to flow in a complete circuit from her soil to our body and back again so she could give us what we need at this time.
- Romanticized connections of feelings that are simply meant to be loving energy between our brothers and sisters (humans to humans).
- Media and 9-5 style working environments that disconnect us from the sun up to sun down lifestyle that we should be naturally inclined to live.
There are many other reasons, but those are my favorite ones to mention that are simple enough for us to adjust one thing at a time using my Goal Success Life Coaching approach. Working on one habit change at a time, you can slowly reconnect with Mother Gaia (Mother Earth).

About my Lightwork Dream
I had a dream that I was with people from my past. I was in this camper, although it was set up more like a big van. A funny thing is that I am interested in buying a vehicle like this soon, and I had it in my possession in this dream.
That said, I saw two men from my past, neither of these were anyone I was romantically connected with ever in my past. They were just friends of friends or whatnot, but we were “friends” loosely throughout the years of my teenage life, from being connected with similar people. I used to talk to these two men, actually, and could sense a deep trouble within their souls, but back then, I was a teenager broken and still aching from the experiences I am slowly remembering that occurred to me when I was too young to know what was happening to me.
Okay. Okay. This isn’t a dark shadows story … back on point …
In this dream I sensed that the first man I had embraced in this circle hug. He was in my arms wrapped up in a fetal like position and I was wrapped around him warmly like making a pouch. I felt this motherly energy transferring from myself to him … and he released all of his pain.
It was the next man that came into the dream that I witnessed more of the message that I believe God intended me to take away from this dream, which is mostly what I shared above for you all. It was a message of loving and healing through the arms of a healer who may feel like sexual energy, but it is not sexual; rather it’s a loving healing energy meant to make you feel that warm embrace of a love that we can only define as a “mother\’s love”.
Apparently, this is a power I have that I didn’t remember, and I also know it’s a power many of us do have if we can work on these dark memories that come back or that we’ve lost because our brains are setup to protect us. Our spirit guides will only open those old memories that wounded us one by one, whenever we are ready to shed light on them and use them for goodness in this world.
If you or someone you know is having a hard time, I ask of you this: grab hold of them (with permission, of course) and hold them tightly in this hug that you would imagine a loving parent to give. Hold them there for at least 20 seconds, count slowly to 20 quietly in your mind. Allow them to cry, allow yourself to cry, release the emotions, and don’t let them explain it away or shy away from the tears. Encourage them to let it go, release the tears, no judgment, you’re free ….
