How to Make the Most of Your Backyard Fire Pit

With the fall season quickly approaching, I wanted to share some awesome tips to use that backyard fire pit some more this year. For those who already have a fire pit and need a little space to hold those logs for an impromptu fall evening campfire, then check out this 4-Foot Log Rack.

While a log rack is a fabulous addition to any backyard setup, I wanted to focus on how to make the most of your backyard fire pit. But if you’ve happened upon this blog post and don’t have a fire pit yet …

Add a Patio Around It

If you have the space available in your backyard, then I recommend adding a patio around it. Depending on the size of your backyard, you can do a simple 4×4 or gravel area around the pit. Or if your yard is larger or you have more money to spend, then go with a full patio set-up.

You can never go wrong with a fire pit and patio.

Add Outdoor Lighting

Adding outdoor lighting is another great way to make the most of your backyard fire pit. It looks especially gorgeous when it’s lit at night and you can’t help but feel like you’re at a fancy resort or staycation location.

When adding outdoor lighting, I recommend using solar lighting. It creates a much softer and less glaring light than other types of lighting, and it’s perfect for the outdoors.

Today’s Fire Pits are More Sophisticated Than Ever! When it comes to fire pits and setting up your backyard space, it’s all about learning what feels comfy for you and your guests. Knowing what lighting you’d like, and what regulations you may have for Sunnydaze Outdoor Fire Pits.

Are you looking for a campground in New Hampshire?

Where we live, we had to have the fire department come out and show us the 1-2 spots that we would be allowed to have a fire pit in the yard. This was due to the city regulations they have – you have to be so far away from your neighbors or other dwellings, and so forth.

We’re glad we were able to use a firepit last year, but now with the FIRE10 discount on the Sunnydazy Cosmic Fire Pit, we may just have to upgrade our old one so that we can enjoy some fabulous fall campfires on these cool New Hampshire evenings this October.
