This blog post is all about your inner world and how you should look inside yourself whenever you\’re feeling a certain way toward someone. This means that you\’re pulling from the past or anxious future. Let my words help you heal that beautiful soul a bit more.
If something hurts your feelings or makes you feel a certain way, it’s imperative that you start to visit that emotion. Not in the ways that society has taught us, rather look inward. Observe that feeling.
I know that I used to get my feelings hurt, but the person “hurting them” wasn’t intending to hurt them; in fact chances are that person had no idea that they were hurting my feelings. Why? Well, because I never said anything. Then again, in my younger years, I probably said or wrote a lot of things on the manner but it was mostly looking outward.
I was looking to the environment for my excuses (albeit valid ones) to explain why I felt the way I felt. I will admit that eventually I realized that the only way to live life fully and gain some peace, was to look inward and observe how I am feeling.
You see, each one of us looks at the world through this lens. The lens is our past experiences and future concerns or hopes. We are taught to heal the past, look forward, and plan for the future, but are we never taught to live in the present?
This was a concept that came to me not that long ago.
You see, I remember thinking that my light had been dimmed, and I thought that someone else had done that. Now, of course, there were experiences in life that caused the light to dim, but ultimately, it was ME who dimmed my OWN light. Right?
Think about it: I didn’t set the boundaries, so someone was capable of entering my energy bubble with my permission because I didn’t set the boundary. I didn’t stay firm in trusting God with what I was supposed to do.
Now, remember, I say God, but you can call this source or creator anything you’d like. It’s not a religious post. Back then, I probably called this “gut instinct,” as I have written about this topic before. I just want to make sure that YOU are not getting deterred by my word usage. This is an important subject matter to soak in.
Ah, but that proves my point – it’s all smoke and mirrors. So, if you don’t like that I reference the name God, and it makes you feel a certain way – then I am willing to bet that you can revisit this feeling from an observational point and realize that you are only feeling this way because you either had positive or negative or mediocre experiences with this word. It’s a word. You are associating it with something from your PAST experiences rather than LIVING IN TODAY and soaking up what I am sharing.
We all do this; I am not attacking you by any means.
This is why I am making it my mission to continue to share whatever words flow from Source Energy to my mind, to my hands. I know that this is a message that needs to be shared and I am writing as I am called upon to write.
Today, I had this draw to write about smoke and mirrors. I wanted to remind you that the way you see the world if you’re not doing any spiritual work, is through smoke and mirrors that you aren’t aware of. The way you see your spouse, yes even that abusive one, is the way you see yourself in some way or perhaps they have a personality style that reminds you of someone in the past.
Then there are the healed versions of you that see the person for the hurt soul they are. We will catch up on that topic another day.
Back to the topic at hand; if you feel like someone hurt your feelings or that they don’t care about you, then maybe you need to revisit how you’re showing up in their life. Have you been there to build that connection with them? Did you foresee that a bond with a human is more than just waking up one day and saying I have a right to be in their life & they should LOVE (or respect) me because I am family; we all know those people who are blood family and think that just because they are blood family members you have to behave a certain or feel a certain way toward them?
I am sure that’s relatable.
This is something I gave up a long time ago. I knew, after becoming a parent, that the first few years of that child’s life is the bond they will have and return to at some point with you. If you didn’t hug, love, or provide whatever made that child feel emotionally attached to you throughout their childhood? Then they will not feel that bond with you. They may not feel negative toward you, but to think that you will have some connection today is weird … the connection isn’t guaranteed. This is why I say you must be emotionally and spiritually connected in this world.
And the parenting topic is a tricky one, I will have to get into that another day. The bond and connection are more than how we perceive the \”emotional needs\” and require a high level of spiritual awakening to comprehend without intense hurt feelings or lashing out.
The more we heal and become emotionally well, the better we can show up in someone’s life. The reality is that the best way to visit the world and others, as a means to have fewer hurt feelings, is to see the world through the lens of NOW. There’s a great book by Eckhart Tolle that I am working on getting through; you can pick that up here.
He is speaking of his experiences in learning more about being connected NOW, because for starters, that’s all we know that exists. Everything else is a memory or a future hope. I think that we often get caught up in how others perceive us and we want to have some connection that that person or the other person over there, and we wonder why we can’t have that.
It must be someone else’s fault. Sadly, it’s no one’s fault but your own. If a relationship matters to you that much, and yet it’s not working out the way you’d hoped, remember that no matter who you are born around or to in this life, it isn’t always the spirit you are meant to walk around all of your life.
We are all spirits here, having our mission and goals that God sent us to deliver and complete.

I’m coming to have visions and realities sent to me about a life we promised to live, but we get distracted with all the shiny things here, and we get educated out of the instinctual ways of our spirit. It’s not intended; it’s a society that thinks we need to behave a certain way or be productive.
This is the way of the material world, but the spiritual world is what’s in charge, and when you can pause, reflect, and realize that you’re a spiritual being that has much bigger missions here than worrying about someone hurting your feelings …. You free yourself to be the best version of you, and God will use your skillset to help awaken the rest of the world.
For the love of all things, if someone hurts your feelings, please practice the art of observing your inner being. How do you feel right now? Is this feeling realistic? Where does this feeling come from? Work through it, but not outwardly, because it is only within your spirit that you can work through this emotion so that each time you feel that “hurt emotion,” it gets easier, and eventually, you don’t have that emotion with that person or situation any longer.
You simply live life for today and see the beauty of each of our souls in their human bodies.
Be love and light.
To those reading this today, I want you to know that I love you, and I pray that you become well and find your spark of light inside that beautiful soul soon. You were born with it, and you have that spark of light; we all do.
