Make Them Pay … In a Good Way

I just had an epiphany I think it’s called. I think that’s the right term. As I was sitting here writing my little heart out into my diary that only members can access on my A Cup of Coffee page, I realized how funny is it that if someone out there who hovers or stalks or is curious about what I’m thinking or doing these days must pay as a member or supporter to access that particular content.

Disclaimer: I do not mean to say this in meanness, just curiosity about something that came to my mind today. I think that all humans should do things with the best intentions. DO NOT use this idea to bash(bad mouth) anyone, that is not my point of this … my point may be very silly but also interesting. It’s meant to help YOU thrive and heal, without purposely harming anyone else.

What if more of you out there did this?

Protect by a paywall some of their daily thoughts that you simply must get out on paper to help others out there in the world, but perhaps do not wish to have “everyone” see them freely?! I mean what a concept.

You may feel more free and perhaps a little empowered.

That, my friends, is what I feel A Cup of Coffee does for you. Join today

How to make your hover-er pay in a good way

You see I don’t quite understand the hovering nature of some people. If you’re an ex and you’ve moved on, then move on. If you haven’t moved on, then work through it with therapy or direct communication. Do not stalk or hover. I feel that’s not productive and it only makes you hurt yourself more.

I dislike doing things that aren’t productive in some manner. So I don’t do them, usually.

I am, after all, an imperfect human being who does dumb shit from time to time though.

Today, I was writing my personal diary entry over on my A Cup of Coffee page when it dawned on me that these words I’m writing used to be shared publicly on my lifestyle blog, but have since become something I rarely share.

Why? Well, reasons. Ha! I don’t need to hash up the past, but the basic gist is that I went through something that made me realize that I don’t feel comfortable with people who read my stuff only to analyze, use against, or manipulate me in some fashion. I want people to use my writing as a means to get to know the real me better and perhaps learn from some of my mistakes.

So, if I am writing in the public domain with that ‘fear’ or whatever you call it, in my mind then I am less likely to be authentic and ‘share it all’, so I created my personal diary section of A Cup of Happy to be open to members only. As time goes on, and more members join, I will start doing live Zoom chats with people and perhaps have close friends on IG, too so we can chat more often in privacy.

You see, there’s no end to how you can use this to empower yourself and others who’ve been through difficult situations but aren’t ready to let their hoverer have free access to their mind again.

A Cup of Coffee has many uses, but I’m betting this reason that popped into my head today hasn’t been one of the many that it’s typically marketed for.

I can’t wait to see you as a member soon, and please do drop your link when you get your A Cup of Coffee live, I will try to support you or become a member whenever possible.

Keep being awesome.

Love & Light,

Brandy
