Looking for a place to visit that you can have a whole day of fun with your family, no matter their age? Story Land in Glen, NH is getting ready to open! Story Land reopens starting in July for families to be able to have fun and experience all there is to do here once again.
We loved our visit to Story Land in 2016. The trio was getting a little too big so to speak for this theme park, but we still had a blast. I had to pull up some photos from the archives to feature with this fabulous announcement that Story Land is reopening.
I’ll be honest, we’re not heading to any amusement parks or whatnot this year, we’re still avoiding large crowds and such due to the current climate. With that being said, I know many families are still searching for fun things to do, and Story Land is one of those fun things you may enjoy doing. When Does Story Land Open?
Story Land is opening starting on July 17th only for those that have season passes. On July 22nd it will open up to other visitors (standard ticket holders). The amusement park will have a limited capacity and many safety and cleaning measures to ensure your family is safest while still enjoying all it has to offer. Story Land will be open daily July 22 through August 31 and on weekends until Columbus Day.
What’s Different about Story Land?
Due to the current times, Story Land has some changes to how they handle their space. Before entering people must be temperature checked and have a temperature under 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit as well as be symptom free or they will not be allowed to enter that day (this includes their staff).
Face coverings are required for everyone in Story Land except children under three years old, and you have to remove your face mask when on the water attractions. There are sanitizing stations made available and regular deep cleaning will occur. There will also be signs reminding guests to practice social distancing. Some attractions at the park may not be open when the area first opens and some may not open at all this season.
Pricing for Story Land
Due to late opening and understanding many people will not want to visit as often, the pricing has changed for season passes this year. You can purchase a season pass for the 2020 summer season for $44.99, or pay the standard price of a season pass ($79.99) to be able to have the season pass benefits for summer 2020 and 2021. Things To Do at Story Land
Story Land has a lot of attractions within the park that vary in age appeal as well as can include water or not. There’s something for every family and every age within the 30 attractions and rides that are offered. Roller coasters, spinning teacups, meet and greets with Disney characters, food, train ride tours, guided antique car rides, and so much more are featured throughout Story Land. Overall, Story Land is a great amusement park located in New Hampshire that could be a really nice opportunity to get out of the house this summer and have fun with your family while still knowing you’re in safe hands. There’s so much to do here, even if you’ve been before you can enjoy coming back again.
