Looking for somewhere in the great state of New Hampshire to enjoy playing games with your family? There are tons of ways to find the best local arcade to you with searches like “arcade near me”, but to find the best of the arcades in NH you’ll have to find roundups like this. There are over a dozen of these locations all around the state, so doing a quick online search or asking friends and family what the arcades in New Hampshire are won’t really give you the best starting point. I’ve made it easier for you by collecting a list today of the top five arcades in NH you could go to, and a little bit about each one! Let’s talk about these top five arcades in New Hampshire, starting with a family favorite.

Funspot

Head on over to Laconia, New Hampshire for this fun and cozy arcade location. We’ve been to Funspot quite a few times as a family over the years, and it’s always a great way to spend the day. They hold a record as the largest arcade in the world, and they’re definitely top of the list when considering the best arcades in NH to go to. Funspot has been around since 1952, and it has tons to see. From hundreds of arcade games to a whole bowling alley to an 18 hole indoor mini golf as well as its own restaurant and tavern, there’s something for everyone here.

Funspot is open all year round and they’re perfect for a destination on a rainy day that lets you enjoy all of the fun that arcade games in NH as well as games like bowling or mini golf can offer you. They also have storage lockers for a small price and available restrooms all around the building and games so you can feel comfortable to have fun while in this arcade in New Hampshire. Honestly, you could stay occupied and enjoying the day for hours in just this one location and that’s why Funspot is the number one on this list of top arcades in New Hampshire.

Dave & Buster’s

If you watch television, chances are you’ve seen at least an ad or two about Dave & Buster’s, the chain of restaurants and arcades that has a location right in Manchester NH for you to visit! I went myself and had a great time, and it lands as number two on this arcades in NH list. Dave and Buster’s is great for families that want to eat some good food and play fun games, and it’s well advertised for those of drinking age with its Monday through Friday happy hour from 4 to 7 pm that features $5 drinks off of a pretty varied menu selection.

The Manchester location of Dave and Buster’s is a great restaurant, arcade, and sports bar all in one. Their menu is available online for those that like to check on the food and prices for their destination ahead of time, and there are constant new events and things to see that Dave & Buster’s hosts. This is a great one of the arcades in New Hampshire that your whole family could enjoy, and there are tons of other Dave & Buster’s locations around the country for those a little further away from the arcades in NH on today’s list.

Playland Arcade (and Funarama Arcade)

Playland is another family favorite for my kiddos that always has them begging to play, located along the beach strip in Hampton NH. Playland and Funarama are both large arcades located right down the street from each other along the Hampton boardwalk. We love visiting Hampton at least once a year for the food, fun by the water, arcades when we can, and boardwalk shops. Playland and Funarama rank pretty high on the arcades in NH due to how many locals and tourists flock to these locations during the beach season when they’re open.

These two arcades in New Hampshire are only open during the season that the rest of the shops on the boardwalk are open, so they stay closed during the late fall through winter and early spring each year. They’re pretty budget friendly and the ticket collecting for prizes keeps us coming back every year to try to accumulate more tickets and more prizes! My kids and I all love to play some of the seemingly endless games here, but be warned it can get a little cramped and overwhelming during the hottest busy summer days like weekends at Hampton.

Chuck E. Cheese

This classic from our own childhoods comes back to make it on the top five arcades in NH list for today, partly for its nostalgic value and partly for its good ratings for families out there with kids. Chuck E. Cheese in Manchester NH is a great little place to go with kids, especially younger kids that’ll enjoy the more age appropriate games and activities here. They have a nice food menu and a handful of great games, and still get pretty good business for having been open for so many decades!

Chuck E. Cheese is a great one of the many arcades in New Hampshire that tends to stick around for long, and being in Manchester there will be plenty of other things for your family to do during the day if you find that Chuck E. Cheese’s is only a short trip worth of your time in the city. Located close to many other places like Dave & Buster’s, the Mall of New Hampshire, and so much more; it’s worth a stop if you have little ones in tow that love games and food at the same time! That’s why this lands at number four of the top five arcades in New Hampshire.

American Classic Arcade Museum

And last but certainly not least on the list for today of arcades in NH you must see, the American Classic Arcade Museum in Laconia New Hampshire is a great location open long hours seven days a week all year round. They feature free admission and hundreds of classic coin-operated arcade games from the multiple decades that arcades have been around for, as well as actual museum displays and info throughout that help people of any age learn about the real history behind arcade games.

The American Classic Arcade Museum mainly exists from the help of donations, and they have great ratings online because of the nostalgic aspect of being able to play your favorite games from when you were a kid in an actual arcade in NH. It’s a gem of New Hampshire that plenty of you out there don’t know about yet, and I had to change that! If you want to look for a more old school way to visit arcades in New Hampshire then this is probably the best one on the list for you to try out yourself or with family and friends in the near future.

There are honestly so many arcades in NH to choose from that it’s hard to choose just five to feature today. This list of the top five arcades in New Hampshire relies a little on my own personal experiences with the arcades listed and I learned more with the reviews and ratings I found online for these locations to make sure it was a good list to put together for y’all.

Arcades in NH are great for locals and tourists alike, it’s a wonderful way to spend time with your loved ones or just enjoy time by yourself while you’re out in New Hampshire. I’m all for connecting with your inner child and having some fun, and these top five arcades in NH should help you try that out for yourself! You’re never too old for a little arcade game fun.
