Newport has a ton of destinations and attractions, but sometimes the simple New England beauty is truly what attracts us all the most when visiting this state. This particular mansion was constructed for a silver heiress named Theresa Fair Oelrichs and was transferred in ownership to the preservation society in 1971. Now, you can visit and wander this mansion with a guided tour, a self-guided listening tour, or just on your own to experience this unique location. To visit, check with the mansion’s website as their dates and openings as well as cost changes depending on the time of year and your purpose for visiting.
