If your situation involves another person, don’t rely on them to get creative, let go of what they will or will not do and take control of what you will or will not do. When all else fails, sometimes we simply have to be okay with letting something go. Be it an extra task you added to your plate that isn’t reasonable for your life. Be it a something extra you purchase on a regular basis because you enjoy having that extra. Whatever you can think of letting go, then do it. One must learn to let go of something in order for the situation to feel better. Sometimes we must learn to let go of what we feel our partner should do when times are tough.
