Visiting Prien: How To Have The Most Incredible Time

Things to see and do

Situated on Bavaria’s biggest lake, Herreninsel island is the biggest of the lake’s three primary islands, and is definitely worth a visit. Explore the island’s many walkways and visit the ancient palace.

You could also opt to spend some of your time exploring the local museums to Prien. There are a few different museums to choose from, including the Museum Salz & Moor and the Museum Torfbahnhof. If you’re someone who loves to visit museums and learn about a location’s culture and history, then you will find these offerings extremely interesting.
