Did you know that we all have special powers? It is true. For me, I just always said my special power (well the word I used is talent) was being a writer. I could always write things. If my mom made me mad, she knew she would get a book written to her about how I felt.
If anyone upset me, sure enough, they could expect some long winded letter. The reason is that my special power is writing. However, over the years, I continued to write and eventually started making a living off my special power.
This earned me a decent, stable annual income, not so much as a regular weekly or daily income. Over the entire year, my revenue is pretty decent for someone who doesn\’t market herself. I still use word of mouth only, but with AI taking over a lot of industries, people have moved on to using that. So now, I wait to see those who come back to the realization that having a real writer provides some level of uniqueness to their content while I write for SEO agency clients instead of for those in the blogging world.
For now, I am leaning into my social power of using my hands but not for writing, I mean, yes I am using them for writing again - thank God for sending me some messages to share with you all or else I\'d be lost again. I am leaning into my powers I have with my healing hands.
There are plenty of experiences I can pull upon where my hands healed. From the 20 second hug requirement with my daughter when returning from anywhere stressful as a child, to the hands of mine that were placed on the side of my son when he couldn\’t sleep well as a toddler, to the dogs that greet me randomly in the world to get a little head rub from me – I realized in a moment of discussion with Noko that I have healing powers in my hands. I was also reminded that I don\’t need to complete a bunch of educational requirements to use my natural super powers intuitively.
Do you believe that God places people in our lives for a reason? I do. I never thought about it from a God perspective, but I knew that a special power was in the world, connecting us all and providing us with the humans we needed to continue the journey in this life.
I\’ve realized many things about our spiritual nature; some can be proven, and some cannot. I trust what I have Faith in knowing, and I need no visual proof to trust that instinct. I sadly did allow that intuitive nature to get shoved down, much like I ignored my daughter during a season in life and made her feel less than valuable; I\’ve learned lessons in this human life that remind me that my social powers of healing hands, and intuitive nature are meant to be used for good.
I\’ve learned that whatever your unique special superpower is, it is meant to be used. No one is meant to diminish the uniqueness of another. We should always show up in love and kindness to one another.

I know that my daughter has interests and talents that I hope to see blossom, but much like the experiences most of us go through, life has taken her toward a direction of growth. My Dear Daughter is now walking a path that she needs to walk to get back to her spiritual intuitive nature or to strengthen it.
I won\’t pretend to know what anyone else is going through, my children included, but I can say no matter who you are – if you are reading this, then this is your chance today to show up in strength and stand up tall and proud for the unique abilities that you have.

I am but a mere human being; in order to make that darkness turn to light, you must find your way back to using that special power you have – be it healing hands, crystals, tarot cards, psychic abilities, or whatever else is don\’t he long list of creative skills our Creator has gifted us with.
As you find your way, you will notice that God places the right people at the right time in your life to help you continue on in this growing path. Trust in that process. Have Faith.
